Johnny is probably best know for his role of ‘Mike Baldwin’ in CORONATION STREET’, a role he played for 30 years until 2006.

His other major TV roles include ‘Detective Sgt Russell’ in NO HIDING PLACE, Z CARS, LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR, THE SAINT, THE PERSUADERS, and DANGERMAN.

On Film, DR IN LOVE, THE BULLDOG BREED, HMS DEFIANT, 633 SQUADRON, THE INTELLIGENCE MAN, THE LAST ESCAPE and many others.

He also recently filmed a Guest lead role in MISS MARPLE for ITV, a Guest lead role in HOLBY CITY for the BBC and played the lead role of 'Fin Morgan' in MOVING WALLPAPER/ ECHO BEACH for ITV.
