Paul Trussell

Paul recently played the role of ‘Trissotin’ in THE SISTERHOOD at The Belgrade, Coventry, directed by Hamish Glen.

Prior to this he played the guest role of ‘Derek Owen’ in CASUALTY for the BBC, ‘Foster’ in acclaimed production of THE ASHES at Nottingham Playhouse and ‘Oddsoxsky’ in MARRIAGE at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry. 

His TV and film work includes THE KINGS SPEECH directed by Tom Hooper, SECRETS AND LIES and LIFE IS SWEET both by Mike Leigh and regular roles in SHARPE, A MANY SPLINTERED THING, CRY WOLF, CRIME TRAVELLER, SO HAUNT ME AND BIG MEG, LITTLE MEG. Other credits include HOUSE OF ANNUBIS, CRIME STORIES, HOLBY CITY, MY FAMILY, THE BILL and EASTENDERS E20.

His other stage work includes the World Premiere production of 6 ACTORS IN SEARCH OF A DIRECTOR at the Charing Cross Theatre, written and directed by Steven Berkoff,  CHILD Z at The Southwark Playhouse, TWELFTH NIGHT at Ludlow, THE THREE MUSKETEERS for the Belgrade and Traverse Theatre’s playing the evil ‘Le Noir’, I CAUGHT CRABS IN WALBERSWICK at the Bush,  A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM and THE GOLDEN ASS at Shakespeare’s Globe, LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES for the RSC and IT’S A GREAT BIG SHAME at Stratford East directed by Mike Leigh.
