Clare Swinburne

Clare most recent credits are HOLBY CITY for the BBC and the role of ‘Elvira’ in BLITHE SPIRIT at The Nottingham Playhouse and ‘Emma’ in Pinter’s BETRAYAL at The Byre Theatre.

Prior to this she filmed a Guest role in EASTENDERS, played the role of ‘Pamela/Margaret/Annabella’ in the UK Tour of THE 39 STEPS and the leading role of ‘Marquise de Merteuil’ in LES LIASONS DANGEREUSES at The New Vic.

‘Her Television credits include , INSPECTOR LINLEY, HOLBY CITY and DALZIEL AND PASCOE for the BBC and TRIAL AND RETRIBUTION for ITV.

Other Theatre credits include THE BACCHAI at the RNT, LADY WINDEMERES FAN and JAPES directed by Sir Peter Hall at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket, and ‘Miranda’ in RELATIVE VALUES at the Salisbury Playhouse.
